Terms

The short version: SpaceCoach is free to use. Pro is a one-time purchase that covers all the Macs you personally own or use, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. SpaceCoach only reads your disk; it never deletes, moves or changes your files.

These terms are between you and ELITE INFORMATION SERVICES LLC ("we", "us"), which makes SpaceCoach. By downloading or using SpaceCoach, or buying SpaceCoach Pro, you agree to them.

Using SpaceCoach

You may download SpaceCoach and use the free version on any Mac you own or control, for personal or work use. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, or remove its notices. You may not reverse engineer it except where the law allows you to.

SpaceCoach Pro

• A Pro license is for one person. It covers all the Macs that person owns or uses. Each person who uses Pro needs their own license, including at a company.
• Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It includes every SpaceCoach 1.x update. A future major version (2.0 and later) may be a paid upgrade; if it is, the version you bought keeps working.
• Your license key is personal. Please don't share it publicly. We may disable a key that's been published or used to get around a refund.

Payment and refunds

Pro is sold through Paddle, which is the seller of record for your order and handles payment, sales tax and your receipt. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

If Pro isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of buying and you'll get your money back, no questions asked. Email support@spacecoach.app with your order number, or reply to your Paddle receipt. Refunded licenses stop working. This doesn't limit any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

What SpaceCoach does, and doesn't do

SpaceCoach reads your disk to measure it and explains what it finds. It never deletes, moves or changes your files. Its explanations and safety labels are our best general guidance, not advice about your particular files. Anything you choose to delete or change, you do yourself, so please keep backups and check before removing anything you're unsure about.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to make SpaceCoach accurate and reliable, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for data loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for SpaceCoach Pro. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. The terms in place when you bought Pro still apply to that purchase.
